The infamous 7 Mile bridge in the Florida Keys provided such a wonderful backdrop of contrast. The shot before you took about six days of shooting between two separate trips to the Keys. My first attempt had foul grey weather, and I wasn’t happy with the output. Finally a perfect morning emerged, and I was out ahead of the clouds for once.
This capture represents all my favorite aspects: great clouds, awesome contrast, structure in the bridge, moving water and great light. Most importantly though, I think it represents one of the fundamental aspects of Florida – The Keys.
