Dreams of endless powder sugar beaches and cerulean water would seem to make for an easy target. In reality, the Coastal Florida collection represented a great challenge from many aspects. 2100 kilometers of coastline is the place I call home base and thought I knew like the back of my hand. In retrospect, there was a great deal of new discovery.

Hurricanes and constantly changing coastline made for a barrage of moving targets. Coastal Florida ended up taking the better part of six months to capture. It is the home to some of what I believe to be the best clouds in the world – certainly idyllic.
