Situated 2000 kilometers west of Australia, New Zealand represents the edge of the ring of fire. Two islands wedged between tropical waters in the north and the icy waters from Antarctica lapping at the southern reaches of the south island.

Somewhat lost in time, the rugged south island is raw and unrelenting.

Knowing what I know now, I would have visited New Zealand many years prior. Gorgeous, majestic and unspoiled nature combined with some of the kindest/friendliest people on the planet.

The air is so crisp and clean that it reminds you of an ice cold drink of water on a hot summer day. Totally refreshing … this is New Zealand.
